- Ike jacket size in very good condition (exactly as seen in the Silver Star Award photo) with 94th Infantry Division patch on the left shoulder

There is a 2” long silver tag tacked onto the back of the Cherub with the following information inscribed on it:

The hilt is also heavily oxidized but the wooden grips are in fair shape with scratches and scuffs

accepted the suggestion for Project Plough

The crossguard shows some verdigris in some of the harder-to-reach spots

This is a lovely service worn all original example of a German Model 40 Steel helmet, as issued to the Wehrmacht Heer (army). It looks to have been overpainted with camouflage during the war, however during its extensive service life most of that wore away, so now it has a great worn look, with the original multi colored camouflage partly retained over what looks to be an original early Apfelgrn (apple green) finish.
