Kendall (ASN 33720273), 641st Bombardment Squadron, 409th Bombardment Group, 9th Air Force, who flew 60 combat missions as a turret gunner on both the A 20 Havoc and the A 26 Invader. He was awarded the Air Medal with a staggering 12 oak leaf clusters. He also appears to have been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, but we couldnt find
