This is a really gorgeous German artillery shell which has been adorned on one side with the GOTT MIT UNS emblem off of a German belt buckle

maybe even twice

The tang is of the "normal" (futsu) style with an asymmetrically pointed (kengyo) style end

and in reality did little to help or improve the status of workers
