A rare badge composed of silver in a Latin cross, the arms bearing the inscription 1889 1914 on the 9 and 3 oclock arms, and XXV 15 MA on the 12 and 6 oclock arms, the center medallion in gilt presents the crowned HI monogram of Nicholas I of Montenegro, the reverse presents a long vertical screw post with screw back plate, the badge measures 38. 3mm (w) x 43. 7mm (h), weighs 19. 9 grams, dark patina, in very fine condition.
