Germany, SA. A Rare 1939 SA-Gebirgsjägerstandarte 4 Ski Competition Commemorative Badge, by Alois Klammer GTRexclude dated 30 December 1941(Sturmabteilung Gebirgsjgerstandarte Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of toned bronze, the obverse bearing a Sturmabteilung insignia overlaying a ski, situated above an inscription of SA SKIRMEISTERSCHAFT STANDARTE GJ4 1939, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked ALOIS KLAMMER, measuring 40 mm (w) x 25 mm (H), a scarce badge in near extremely fine condition.
