This is a very rare example of an original U. S. Marine Corps M1917 "Doughboy" helmet, one of a handful that we had had, as they are very hard to come by. This very nice example is complete with a complete liner and chinstrap, and still has most of the original textured paint on the outer shell. More importantly, the front is marked with a red Marine Corps EGA (Eagle Globe Achor) Marking, with a V in the center. This
